What should I do if my purchase fails?
NOTE: You can retry a card at any point on any Heck Yeah checkout page.
If for some reason your purchase fails when trying to buy a session on Heck Yeah, here are some steps you can take:
- Allow foreign transactions (if your bank or PayPal account are outside of the EU)
Some non-EU banks will decline purchase attempts that are considered foreign transactions. While many banks will allow you to enable foreign transactions online, others require you to contact them by phone.
- Allow online transactions
If your card isn’t enabled to make online purchases, your bank might decline transactions with Heck Yeah. In this case, you must enable your card for online transactions, either online or through your bank’s customer service center.
- Add sufficient funds
Your account may have insufficient funds. Please check your account balance, add funds if necessary, and try again.
- Double-check your CVC
Verify that you have entered your CVC correctly. “CVC,” or Card Verification Code, is a 3- or 4-digit security code that appears on many credit cards. It often appears in the final group of numbers printed on the signature panel on the back of the card. New North American MasterCard and Visa cards feature the code in a separate panel to the right of the signature strip. On American Express cards, the four-digit code is printed on the front of the card above the number. Please ensure that you have entered your CVC correctly on the checkout page.
- Allow transactions from Heck Yeah
If none of the above steps helps, contact your bank directly and ask them to enable transactions from Heck Yeah.
